Welcome to the Valais Blacknose Club NI
This Club is for owners, breeders, valais lovers, in fact anyone with an interest is Valais sheep. It is our aim to promote the Valais breed and share knowledge and information relating to breeding standards, registration, showing, etc and provide a platform where members can ask advice, share tips and post pics.
We aim to approach agricultural shows and request that they include Valais Blacknose classes in their livestock schedule. We plan on running demo evenings covering a wide range of topics to include show prep, breeding, sheep health and much more with guest speakers specialising in various topics.
These club evenings will enable existing breeders to meet and will enable potential owners a chance to gain some knowledge of the breed and other valuable information before purchasing.

Valais Blacknose Grading and Exhibition 2024 Day
Grading 2024 The NIVBC are excited to announce that our grading date for 2024 has been confirmed as 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐲 and will be held at 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 A reminder to all our members that sheep are to be presented for grading in a minimum of 10cm of fleece so having this date well in advance will give everyone time to prepare for the event.
Valais Classes at the Randox Antrim Show !
Randox Antrim Show will take place in the beautiful grounds of the majestic Shanes Castle Estate, Antrim, on Saturday 22 July 2023.
Annually organised by Antrim Agricultural Society, 2023 will see the 115th show take place.
